DESCRIPTION:April 13 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM \nBlack Rock Harbor Center\, 52 Amherst St Buffalo\, 14207 \nThe BRRAlliance is hosting a Spring environmental speaker series.  This is the 2nd in a series of four engagements. \nSpeaker: Connie Adams\, Department of Environmental Conservation \nTopic: Wonderful Winter Waterfowl of the Niagara \nThis talk will focus on the diversity of waterfowl species that spend from December through March on Lake Erie and the Niagara River. \nAs a wildlife biologist for NYS DEC\, Connie Adams will examine what  draws these ducks\, geese and swans  to Western NY from the high Arctic every winter\, and some of the challenges they face as they spend a chilly season on this waterway we treasure.
