One of the most important goals of the BRRAlliance is engagement with and enrichment of the communities of northwest Buffalo, NY.  As such, we host a number of events throughout the course of the year.  Some of these events are one-time only affairs, others are annual happenings.  Learn more about past events hosted by the BRRAlliance below!

In the fall of 2023, the BRRAlliance held a program consisting of a series of speaker from different organizations invested in the local environment.  Topics ranged from urban air quality to Buffalo’s new composting initiatives.  Read more…

Beginning in 2022, the BRRAlliance has been holding a September 5K run.  The River Rock Run provides a unique riverside run experience that showcases the beauty of our riverfront and encourages visitation and the experience of our urban environment.  Read more…

In Summer 2022 the BRRAlliance held the first Music By the Murals concert series in Market Square Park.  This series, produced with the support of Sportsmen’s Americana and Arts Services, Inc, provided free music to the community and showcased the benefit of Market Square park as a staging venue for events in the heart of Black Rock.  Read more…

The BRRAlliance has participated in the Give 716 charity drive since 2021.  This drive is hosted by the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres organizations, and supported by a number of local businesses.  This event gives charities and nonprofits like the BRRAlliance an opportunity to spread their message and raise funds through social media campaigning.  Read more…

In 2023 the BRRAlliance held its first meat raffle.  This event drew a fun-loving crowd from the Black Rock and Riverside districts who came out in order to raise funds in support of the BRRAlliance and take a chance on winning some delicious prizes.  Read more…
